THE GAGGLE OF REDS . . .
The original band, The Reds™, was formed by Rick Shaffer and Bruce Cohen, in Philadelphia, PA in 1977, along with drummer, Tommy Geddes, and bass player, Jim Peters.
For unknown reasons, there are a few bands who were apparently unable to create a unique name, so they also call themselves, The Reds. Tarock Music doesn’t understand the band, or especially their management’s, poor judgment and lack of research, but they must have thought it was a good idea to use a trademarked name, that obliterates their opportunity to establish their own brand, and places them in legal action jeopardy.

The Reds • Denton, TX — is a garage band who released one album, "The Reds," in 2001. This is the band that gets most confused with the Philadelphia Reds, because their album cover is very similar to the first album released by the Philadelphia Reds in 1979, also entitled, "The Reds."
The Reds • Tennessee — are a Christian hard rock band, with metal influences. Band members: Anthony Armstrong – guitar, Randy Armstrong – bass, Michael Barnes – vocals, and Jasen Rauch – guitar.
